The assignment is today.

You do not need a more impressive version of yourself to obey Jesus. You need the next faithful hour.

But exhort one another every day, as long as it is called “today,” that none of you may be hardened by the deceitfulness of sin.Hebrews 3:13

Most delayed obedience is dressed as wisdom. We wait until we are fitter, holier, less busy, more certain, better funded, or less afraid. Meanwhile the person in front of us stays unseen, and the verse stays framed.

Hebrews does not say exhort one another when the brand is ready. It says today. As long as it is called today. That is the whole battlefield. Not your five-year plan. The hour you are actually in.

I know the feeling of wanting a cleaner story before I move. I build in public anyway — SeekFirst.World, Six33.Shop, this HQ — because waiting for a more impressive Daniel is just another way to stay a spectator. Agents of the Gospel are not people who finally arrived. They are people who went.

Matthew 6:33 is a today verse. Seek first the Kingdom. Not seek first after the anxiety lifts. The seeking is how the anxiety loses the mic. Start the morning with the King. Then take the assignment that is already in the room: the call, the gift, the apology, the walk, the meal, the quiet work nobody will rank.

If you became an Agent this week, this is your briefing: do not wait for a montage. Pick the current mission. Do it before the day talks you out of it. Then tell the truth about what happened. That is how a life turns — not in a rebrand, in a Tuesday.

Today is still called today. That is mercy. That is also a deadline with grace in it. Go.
